Especially since the only impact water has in this game is just on the animals. ![]() ![]() I would regard the used of mods that are not tied into the Game Mechanics more time wasting to that of people crating transporter beams to do their hauling for them.Ĭompletely agree the impact of weather should be more integrated than it currently is. Would be a great idea, if they find a way to make weather impact your yields. I know as of now, Seasons mod, has no effect on crop yields. Unless there is a mod out there, that effects crop yields, that I dont know about. In FS17, weather dont effect your crop yields either way, so irrigating mods, would just be for show. I wouldnt think they irrigate all that much wheat or barley either for that matter. I think they tend to use their irrigation where they plant corn yr after yr, as corn doesnt do well in dry years, where as soybeans, tends to hold up better during dryer yrs. Now it won't fill again, neither from the water tank nor the pond. Once its in and touching the water surface just press 'I' to start filling it. 1 Martin 5:47am Update: placed a water tank, filled the mobile tank once, worked fine. Irrigation tends to be used more out in the Western part of farm country here in the US, I know Nebraska tends to have quite a bit of Irrigated farm land. Get water from any water source u can back a tank into. I havent traveled the country, too much, but I figure both Illinois and Iowa, who actually have even richer top soil than we do in Central Indiana, you probably wont see much Irrigation in those parts either. Cows are one of the more versatile animals. You will also see some Irrigation in the southern part of Indiana you can refill from a water tank on your land OR fill up for free without using your resources at any body of water. You get farther north in Indiana, you will see some irrigation due to some sandy loam soils. You take where I farm, in Central Indiana, we have a lot of rich black soil, mixed with clay, so Irrigation really wouldnt be profitable most yrs, although would have been nice to have during drought yrs, lol. It all depends on your soil and where your farm is located. If soil has high clay content water is well retain and irrigation not required, but if there is high sand/gravel content then the water leaks out of the soil and irrigation is necessary to grow crops. I am from Midwest USA and irrigation is done in some areas depending on soil type and water availability. It is cheap, but that’s because each time you fill the tank with water costs money. There are plenty of places in the world where there is very little irrigation used in agriculture. Once you have a reservoir, the first way to get water is to build a well on your farm. Most animals need water in addition to food except bees and chickens. It’s not a task that everyone wants to do, so you have the option to purchase outbuildings that are connected to the water main, meaning you don’t have to fill up your water supply. It’s only required if you’re using the cheapest pastures – but applies to all other animal species. To fill from a Water Tank, simply bring a Water Tanker next to the tank, and hit the Refill button FS17 KeyboardButton to start filling the tanker with water. Welcome to the official website of Farming Simulator, the 1 farming simulation game by GIANTS. New game engine: improved graphics and animations completely new physics - the control of vehicles is more realistic and complex (unfortunately, AI employees remain unchanged and can cause some quite unusual problems). Below are the main arguments in favor of Farming Simulator 19. You will have to get and then take the water to the indicated place in person, and you will need the water tank available in the shop in the “animals” category. Compared to the previous versions (numbered 15 and 17), there have been many changes and modifications. liquid manure or milk Then this liquid silo could be right for you. Some types of pens in FS 22, such as a regular pasture for cows, do not have a built-in water feeder, thanks to which it is automatically refilled in the animal troughs. Do you need storage for your liquids, e.g. In Farming Simulator 22, you have several options to get water and carry it to your farm.
